I have always thought that I would never retire, as I have always liked working so much. I have decided that I would retire and still continue to work part-time.
I was born in DeFuniak Springs, FL on January 24, 1950, but was raised in Pensacola. I was the third of seven children. My parents were Wyndol Wayne Slaey and Eva Eunice Matthews. My siblings are Donna Sutton, Eva Tameling, DeNese Slaey, Revel Slaey, William Slaey, and Rebecca Tolleson.
I graduated from W. J. Woodham High School in 1968. I married Eric Steigerwald on November 28, 1975, our daughter Michelle was born on August 5, 1977, and I was divorced on November 16, 2001.
I have enjoyed my working years, but look forward to having more free time to do some of the things I have always wanted to do.
I also want to continue my education as I am also a lover of learning and have found my experience at PBCC to be very gratifying.
There are so many friends and former co-workers that I would like to have celebrate this event with me, that I have decided to host it at my house next Saturday.
So that we can all relax and enjoy each other's company, I am asking everyone to bring a dish to share. Please make a selection from the following list and reply with the number of people attending and which dish you would like to bring.
